A number of Carbon Based compositions were then uploaded onto the generoproject.com website and quickly gained a wide following. Electronica Exposed requested a demo CD and subsequently signed eight of the ten compositions on the CD! Not surprising considering the CD included hard dance and freeform beasts such as 'Illuminate', 'Jerk Awake', 'Prologue', 'Heaven N Hell', 'Reptile', 'Outer Rings', 'Reactivated' and 'Fatal Flashback', which were released on either Electronic or Electrolysis!

Over the next few years, Electronica Exposed continued to sign many Carbon Based compositions including the freeform classics 'Cyclone' and 'Ultimate Protection', which were released on the Straight Outta Finland EP vinyl doublepack on Electronic in 2004 along with 'Reactivated' and 'Fatal Flashback'. More forward thinking freeform followed on Electronic and Electroplates in the form of Carbon Based & Nemes 'Charmed Dreams', DOK 'Mental Ward (Carbon Based Remix)' and Carbon Based's 'Underworld Species' and 'Painkiller'. Electrolysis focussed on the more hard dance orientated material with Carbon Based & Rx 'Reptile', The Mexican 'Land Of The Pharaohs (Carbon Based Remix)' and Carbon Based's 'The Choice' and 'Real Stuff'.

On CD, Electronica Exposed released the live PAs from the Forms Of Energy and Movement 2004 events, as well as the solo compositions 'Illuminate 2004' and 'Savage Man 2004' on the Electronic Exclusives 1 - Finrg Allstars compilation. Carbon Based compositions appeared on the Hardcore Heaven 2, Proteus - Hard NRG - The Hellfire Club, Bonkers 15 - Legends Of The Core, Freeformation, Crush On Hardcore 3, Pharmacy Volume 3 - Down With The Sickness, The Album That Was Called V and Nu Energy 100 - The Final Chapter compilation albums, some of which were due to Nu Energy licensing Carbon Based's most well known freeform composition 'Anger Ball', which was released on vinyl in 2006 along with a remix by Kevin Energy.

Carbon Based compositions have been remixed by several artists such as The Mexican & James Xavier's driving, hard house remix of 'Prologue' on Electrolysis, the Mitosis breaks remix of 'Cyclone' on Electromagnetic, the Alek Száhala remix of 'Heaven N Hell' and the James Xavier trance remix of 'Cyclone' on Electronica Exposed, and the Sinthetic makina remix of 'Cyclone', which was licensed to Sinthetic in Spain in 2011. More recently, Shanty remixed Carbon Based, Shanty & DOK 'Finfish' for the free digital download Freeform Exposed 2 compilation album in 2013, and Carbon Based completed a new mixdown of their remix of Shanty, Tazz & Loopy 'Maximum' on Electromotive in 2014.

With such a rich, diverse and immense discography, Carbon Based have plenty of audio weaponry which they have used to perform numerous PAs in Finland, Australia and the UK that have consistently sent clubbers into a state of rapture with their infectious lead melodies, gritty saw synths and pounding beats!
