ADELPHOI 'PURE ASPIRATIONS (FIZZY POP MIX)'
Electromotive | EMOTE018 | Digital Download | 7:31 | 05.05.2014 | Trance In 1999, Adelphoi recorded the Fizzy Pop Mix of their first trance composition 'Pure Aspirations' at Austin Reynolds' studio in Brentwood. Shortly afterwards, the Two Sugars Mix was recorded at Jim Sullivan's studio, which was released on vinyl on Ascendant Heights in 2000 and on CD and digital download on the Ascendant Heights - The Complete Works compilation on Electronica Exposed in 2008. The exact reasons why the Fizzy Pop Mix was not released on Ascendant Heights are unclear, but it's certainly in keeping with other music on the label, so should have been! Both mixes of 'Pure Aspirations' feature the same darkly tinged yet ravey lead riff melody, but the Fizzy Pop Mix is the tougher of the two with it's relentless bubbling grooves and psy arps!
