Since then, Alex Calver has proven to be a jack of all trades as he's mastered every genre that he's set his mind to, be it electro house, progressive house, drum & bass, dubstep and everything bass music related through his Calvertron pseudonym, which has lead to releases on many labels including Ministry Of Sound, Destination?, Eternal Vibes, Freek, Data, Electric Sushi, Mass, Little Mountain, Against The Grain, Maelstrom, Southern Fried, Champion, 3Beat and Universal Music. In 2008, Alex launched Jack Knife Records which has become one of the most formidable labels for bass music, showcasing his own productions and helping to nourish the talent of newcomers like Traced.
Alex Calver's association with Electronica Exposed began in 2006 when Club Concrete commissioned him to do do a pounding techno remix of The Mexican & James Xavier 'Was It Something I Said?'. This opened the floodgates for Club Concrete and Electrolysis to sign a number of his WMD collaborations with Traced & The Mexican and also Jason Roberts. Traced & The Mexican also collaborated with Alex on the massive schranz techno anthem 'From The Dark Side', which was released on Cardiac Arrest in 2007 and was later licensed to the Global NRG, Essential Hardtechno 2.0 and Lenny Dee - Ballad Of The Broken Turntable compilation albums. As Alex crossed over into slower tempos with his Calvertron alias, Traced & The Mexican collaborated with him once again on 'Main Stage' for Eternal Vibes and 'House Party', which was released on Electrocute in 2009 and is the label's biggest seller.
